Cruise in 2022 and beyond
If you’re on the fence about booking a cruise for you and your family this is a great time to go ahead and book your trip. There are many reasons why, but here are four of the very best.
#1: Prices are lower than they will be in the coming months. As cruising restarts, demand is going to outpace supply. Cruise lines are offering lower fares and better sales on 2022 and beyond itineraries to get people to think about traveling later vs right now when many ships are already at capacity.
#2: You only have to pay your deposit today- not the entire cruise. Cruise vacations require that you pay a small deposit upfront. Then the balance is due between 45-90 days (depending on the cruise line) before your ship sets sail. Booking for 2022 and later now, gives you flexibility and will allow more time to pay for your cruise.
#3: New ships like the Carnival Mardi Gras and Norwegian Prima are in high demand. Booking your cruise now ensures you will get on board these new ships while they still have that new ship smell. 😊 Ships like Norwegian Prima are debuting next year too. If you like the thought of sailing on a brand-new ship, you should book now to claim your spot.
#4: With safety protocols in place, there will never be a cleaner or safer time to cruise than over the next 12-24 months. Even though cruise ships were clean before, there is an extra layer of cleaning that is occurring due to the pandemic. You can be sure that cruise staff will do everything in their power to keep you safe and healthy during your cruise.
