I've been in IT for more than 25 years. I've seen a lot of changes, but one thing that hasn't changed- IT people are busy.
A while back, I decided I needed a change. I was tired of vacations consisting of being able to send calls to voicemail and ignoring e-mails for a few hours. I was finally going to do it. I was going on a cruise. For the first time I could remember I was going to be completely disconnected.
So many choices. Where did we want to go? Which cruise line was right for us? So many options and no one to guide us through the process.
I thought it might just be easier to stay home and avoid all of the headaches with the planning process.
I decided once I got back from my amazing cruise vacation, that I wanted to help people experience the feeling of relaxing and letting go of the world around you to take in the freedom that comes with travel. I also knew that I could put my years of strategic planning and project management to take away the frustration and stress of planning their escape.
So, Travel by John was born.
